September is PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) awareness month, and Dr. Rink Murray of Tennessee Reproductive Medicine spoke with Chattanooga FOX affiliate Channel 9 about the symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment of PCOS.
PCOS is not often talked about, especially given the personal and intimate nature of some of the symptoms it presents. Dr. Murray addressed the confusion that can surround a PCOS diagnosis. “It can be bewildering” said Murray. He added, “it’s not something to be feared. It’s something to be managed.”
