Meet Our Fertility Staff
Rachael is a certified REI RN by the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and graduated summa cum laude for her nursing class. She has completed the ASRM Nurse Certificate Course in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Rachael takes pride in her work at TRM and the joy it brings in the lives of others.
Aside from nursing, Rachael’s great love is makeup, both for fun and special events. She also enjoys music, crafting and being outdoors.
Certified Embryology Laboratory Specialist
Ashby’s constant love of learning has driven her to excel in the field of embryology, and she applies this drive to stay current in new techniques and information relating to advanced reproductive medicine. She is a Certified Embryology Laboratory Specialist and licensed by the State of Tennessee.
In her spare time, Ashby appreciates hiking, fishing, rafting, trail running, biking and virtually anything else that involves being outdoors with her husband and three dogs.
Lorie brings more than 25 years of experience in medical billing to Tennessee Reproductive Medicine (TRM). She enjoys connecting with patients while working at the office. She also finds great joy in and supporting patients’ miraculous fertility journeys.
She spends her free time at the movies, reading, eating out at restaurants with family and friends, and visiting the beach.
Candy is an active member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and has certifications in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support. She has completed the ASRM Nurse Certificate Course in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She enjoys building lifelong relationships with her patients, and has focused on fertility to pursue her love of women’s health.
Candy’s hobbies include reading, going to the gym and spending time with her family. She has more than 100 pairs of crazy socks. Don’t miss them when visiting the office!
Being an active member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and a registered nurse. She has completed the ASRM Nurse Certificate Course in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Linda loves the ability to help patients obtain their dream of having families of their own. Working at TRM has given her the opportunity to build close relationships with her patients and get to know them as individuals. She is honored to have patients who love her and consider her part of their family, as well.
Some of Linda’s hobbies, besides hoarding candles, are rafting, painting, working out and most of all spending time with her family.
Patient Care Coordinator
Melissa achieved quite the skill set before becoming part of the TRM family. She has worked in merchandising and advertising for a men’s clothing company, co-facilitated a Securities Training Class with Delta Airlines, and even worked in a funeral home driving a hearse.
If there is one thing to know about Melissa, it is that she puts family above all else. Her greatest gift is her children, and she is most proud of them. Melissa has also come to cherish the family she has found at TRM. She is immensely grateful to be part of a family that gets to help others build families of their own.
Angie has been involved with the medical field for more than 22 years, first in human resources and now as TRM’s practice administrator. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in business administration with a major in finance from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
She takes great pride in her work and TRM’s commitment to patients, ensuring that they are provided with as much information as possible, from understanding their insurance benefits to understanding all of their treatment options. She is an active member of the Chattanooga Medical Group Management Association, Tennessee Medical Group Management Association (TMGMA) as well as the national MGMA.
She is also the proud mother of two grown sons and a wife of 26 years. When not working, Angie enjoys rooting for the Vols, watching other sporting events, playing corn hole and watching movies.
Terena joined TRM in 2016, bringing a wealth of experience and a warm personality to the clinic. She earned an administrative assistant associates degree with a medical emphasis from Chattanooga State Community College, and enjoys helping patients better understand their insurance benefits and financial options.
Outside of the office, she spends a lot of her time with family and friends, attending her boys’ baseball games, practicing yoga or reading.
Shan has more than 12 years of experience in embryology, andrology and IVF techniques. She takes pride in mastering her embryo-growing skills to help couples become parents. She is certified by the American Board of Bioanalysts as a Technical Supervisor in Embryology, by the Association of Bioanalysts as a Medical Technologist in Andrology, and licensed by the State of Tennessee.
To unwind, she crotchets and bakes. She also enjoys “epic” road trips with her husband and two children.
