AMH testing is worth understanding, especially if you hope to get pregnant in the future
Healthline looked to Dr. Jessica Scotchie for her expertise on anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) testing and what it can tell you about your reproductive health. She discussed how the hormone is linked to fertility by telling specialists more about a woman’s ovarian reserve.
“When used as part of an infertility workup, AMH can help doctors understand if the ovaries are aging more rapidly than they should and if there are fewer eggs remaining. Dr. Scotchie says. “AMH levels can also best predict how ovarian stimulations will progress when used in creating IVF protocols.”
