About Tennessee Reproductive Medicine
Tennessee Reproductive Medicine (TRM) is a full-service reproductive endocrinology and fertility clinic located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. At our office, you’ll find a team of professionals dedicated to delivering the highest quality care in a compassionate environment.
For more than 15 years, our goal has been and continues to be, to provide the most advanced, compassionate medical and surgical care to patients dealing with infertility.
From day one we pursued a simple mission, but one not so easy to achieve: to provide the highest quality fertility care to Chattanooga and the Southeast. Because each patient is unique, we tailor our care to meet the needs of the individual, woman or man.
Creating a team: TRM’s history
Our fertility treatments & services
We offer a wide range of services including intrauterine insemination (IUI), egg donation programs, intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), fertility treatments for men, in vitro fertilization (IVF), and preimplantation genetic testing.
We provide treatment and care for many disorders and health concerns such as recurrent pregnancy loss, endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome and more.
TRM is also equipped to perform robotic and minimally invasive surgery, as well as provide egg cryopreservation services.
TRM’s top doctors
Our founding physicians, Dr. Rink Murray and Dr. Jessica Scotchie, are double board certified in reproductive endocrinology & infertility (REI) and obstetrics & gynecology (OB/GYN). They are also both members of the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (SREI). Drs. Scotchie and Murray are supported by our new provider Dr. Natalie Vukmer.
Dr. Murray’s decision to become a reproductive endocrinologist was influenced in large part by his and his wife’s own struggles with infertility. He has been elected as one of the “Best Doctors in America” every year since 2006.
Dr. Scotchie is the associate program director at the Minimally Invasive Gynecology Surgery fellowship at University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She has been elected one of the “Best Doctors in America” multiple times and is the only female fertility specialist in Chattanooga.
Celebrating 10 years
In October 2018 Tennessee Reproductive Medicine celebrated 10 years of helping build families by treating people with infertility. During that time, TRM has helped more than 10,000 patients through fertility treatment, with most of them having healthy babies they couldn’t have otherwise had.
We would not be here without our patients and are so thankful we have had the opportunity to support so many families over the past decade.
Recognized excellence
TRM has been awarded the American Society for Reproductive Medicine’s “Symbol of Nursing Excellence” emblem. This indicates that at least half – but 100% in TRM’s case – of a practice’s registered nurses or nurse practitioners experienced in reproductive endocrinology have completed additional training through the REI Nursing Certificate Course.
Additionally, the TRM laboratory has continually received CAP accreditation since 2012 by the College of American Pathologists (CAP). The Accreditation Committee of CAP awarded accreditation to TRM based on the high standards of care met during an on-site inspection.
Support for patients
As part of our total commitment to our patients, we offer private financial counseling appointments at no additional cost. TRM accepts most major insurance carriers including Aetna, BCBS, Cigna and UnitedHealthcare. We also have multiple financing programs for our patients to help cover the cost of fertility treatment. TRM has in-house discount programs for our patients as well. These include:
- Our IVF Guarantee: This is our unique program for eligible patients. When people know they’ll stay within a set budget, it gives them peace of mind and leads to decreased stress during the treatment cycles.
- Service Worker Discount: We are proud to offer an IVF discount for active police, firefighters and military service members in recognition of their service to our community.
- IVF Multi-Cycle Discount Program: This gives patients peace of mind while providing multiple opportunities for IVF success. By pre-arranging for multiple IVF cycles, patients know they have at least two chances to conceive, not just one. This can remove some of the inherent stress of family planning while significantly reducing costs.
Approach to care: the TRM difference
The TRM difference is in our approach to patient care, meaning the doctors are present at every clinical visit and even perform their own sonograms, so patients get immediate results and the one-on-one physician time they deserve.
