Women should avoid travel to areas affected by Zika and take measures to prevent mosquito bites in the U.S.
Responding to mounting questions from his fertility patients, Dr. Rink Murray of Tennessee Reproductive Medicine told Knoxville CBS affiliate Channel 8 that women in the United States should not to delay having a baby because of the Zika virus.
“As frightening as the Zika virus may seem right now to mothers-to-be, there are multiple reasons it potentially poses a lesser risk than delaying having a baby,” said Murray.
