This holiday season, TRM is giving away a free cycle of in vitro fertilization (IVF) to one lucky individual or couple in need of treatment. This giveaway was inspired by an act of generosity that made parenthood possible for Dr. Murray and his wife, Kristi (both pictured above).
“Kristi and I had failed multiple IVF cycles at two different IVF centers,” Dr. Murray told the Chattanooga Times Free Press. “The closest we had come to success was an ectopic pregnancy that almost claimed my wife’s life. We had all but given up. We were in debt from these and could not afford any other treatments.” Dr. Murray went on to explain the radical act of generosity that allowed him and his wife to become parents.
Dr. Scotchie added that the decision to have the contest during the holidays was due to the added stress brought by the season for those facing infertility.
