In Vitro Fertilization
In general, in vitro fertilization (IVF) offers the highest chance for conception. For many couples, a single attempt of IVF is more likely to be successful than many months of other treatments. The reason for IVF’s high success rates is that it allows for the interaction of the more eggs and sperm than any other procedure. Of all the eggs a woman could produce in a month, we see which ones develop into the embryos which are most likely to result in pregnancy. We place those embryos back into the uterus.
Of course, IVF is not appropriate for all couples. However, for virtually every diagnosis, IVF does offer the highest chance of pregnancy in the shortest period of time.
