TRM Fertility Specialists Ranked Among Top Five Percent of U.S. Docs

Fellow physicians award Fertility Specialists Dr. Murray and Dr. Scotchie as doctors they would most want treating them and helping them build their families.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (December 2013) – Tennessee Reproductive Medicine (TRM) fertility specialists Rink Murray and Jessica Scotchie have been awarded Best Doctors in America® for 2014. The award recognizes the top five percent of U.S. doctors and is given to physicians who have earned the consensus support of other expert physicians.

Operating under the theory that physicians are best qualified to judge other physicians, the “Best Doctor” award results from of an extensive, impartial, peer-reviewed survey of thousands of doctors nationwide.

“Being entrusted by our fellow doctors and acknowledged for our outstanding service is a tremendous honor,” says Scotchie, who cofounded TRM in 2008. “More importantly, however, is the fruition of our mutual vision to deliver outstanding medical care and emotional support to couples struggling with infertility. There is no greater joy we get than seeing the smiling faces of the hundreds of babies TRM has helped create. ”

Murray and Scotchie, who both completed fellowships in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, opened doors at TRM to increase access to outstanding fertility care in Chattanooga. Their mission is to ease the painful journey of infertility, treat every patient as a person, not a number, and work tirelessly to deliver highly successful treatments. TRM’s IVF success rates have consistently exceeded the national average IVF success rates since the program began. Both doctors are double board-certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and OB/GYN.

This is the sixth consecutive year that one or both of the TRM physicians has been selected for the Best Doctor Award.
